Millions, maybe billions of people around the world use computers and the internet every day. The technological advancements that have fueled the jump in computer usage over the last fifteen years have also furthered technology in areas that most people, now, take for granted. Things like word processing that was done mainly by hand fifteen or twenty years ago has brought about an onslaught of different software to alleviate the time spent editing. Even things like receiving letters has changed, almost completely gone are the days of receiving a document that was actually written by hand.
Fortunately for computer users, despite all of the ways to send and receive information, software companies have kept the best of the best computer programmers hard at work to meet the demands of the information age. These programmers have developed several different software programs for sending and receiving different types of documents and, for the most part, they have also strived to keep everything on a universal level.
PDF (Portable Document Formatting) files have become a mainstay in computer files. With Adobe, the creators of PDF, leading the forefront for universally usable file technology, PDF was initially introduced in 1993 as a way to exchange private and business documents. This formatting type has become one of the most universally used and recognized pieces of software since its debut and can be used, with the proper software, on any form of computer. Despite all of what PDF has to offer, there is still room for improvement with the help of other software systems. Because of this many companies have developed a convertor program that allows you take documents from various other file forms and transfer them into PDF or vice versa for ease of editing and launching the document.
